SOFIA, Bulgaria - The initial decline in production at the start of the pandemic followed by a huge demand, disrupted the Bulgarian industry. A quick response to the rapidly changing situation benefited most of the Bulgarian manufacturers. The end result is a record year. While the 2020 export volume declined, the shift towards e-bikes resulted in the biggest export value ever.

Bulgaria Turning Into Next European Bike Valley

PLOVDIV, Bulgaria - The newest e-bike producer in Bulgaria is Cross Ltd. The company recently opened a new facility focused on the production of e-bikes in Montana. Mid-2017 Leader 96 Ltd opened the company's second bike factory which is located near Plovdiv.
